Credit Card Processing

At POSC Business Systems we work with a number of credit card transaction processors and their representatives.

SoftTouch Hospitality Management Systems for restaurant point-of-sale along with InfoTouch’s Store Manager POS for retail are open-architecture systems that allow restaurateurs and retailers to use the credit card processor of their choice.

These systems have Mercury Payment Systems credit card processing software written into their core programming, allowing them to offer Mercury Payment Systems processing at no additional charge with no setup fee.

InfoTouch’s Storekeeper POS for retail utilizes Mercury Payment Systems as its exclusive credit card processor and Intuit’s QuickBooks POS requires credit card processing through their processor.

To utilize all other processors on SoftTouch POS or StoreManager, a one-time setup fee is required to install “gateway” software on the system fileserver.

Older technology for hospitality point-of-sale systems require credit card processing software licensing (typically about $500 per terminal) or require a setup fee in addition to processing through a “merchant link” that carries a transaction fee of up to $.05 per transaction.
